I wont be very oryginal saying, that my favourite Christmas tradition is.. tradition itself! Although Christmas is not the most impotrant Christian holiday, but surely in our culture is the most celebrating one. What I like the most about Christmas is this waiting form the beginnig of December. A lot of decorations in the city, in shopping malls, the sound of bells and Christmas songs everywhere. Maybe it is a bit cliché, but I really love this kind of magic! And every year I’m looking forward to start to decorete my own house with a lot of natural elements, such as wild rose and spruce branches, wreaths and a lot of straw decorations, all in simple but very cosy scandinavian aesthetic.

Oh no, sorry, I forgot to write about my favorite holiday tradition. I love to come home on Christmas Eve, drinking mulled wine and eating Christmas cookies my mum made.

Two Sundays before Christmas, we go and choose our Christmas tree and then spend the afternoon decorating it with glass baubles and fairy lights. We also have a family meal on Christmas eve and light candles together!
