I am a fan of Finnish stylist Susanna Vento. Her style is simple and minimal, and she always creates beautiful compositions. She has an eye for detail, and knows how to feature key products in an elegant but understated way. Her work definitely reflects to her Nordic roots.

Here are some pictures of a lovely home she styled and featured on her blog, Varpunen.

I really like the way Susanna styled the desk in the bedroom. Natural wood, white, black, grey and a touch of dusty pink and brass – What a lovely combination! The mirror is by Normann Copenhagen, the lamp is by Gubi, and the chair is by Thonet – Three items on my wish list!

Trend alert: It seems that faux coral pieces are increasingly popular among stylists – I’ve seen many of them lately, and I’m totally on board! What about you?
