Danish company Libratone presents “Libratone Fairytale Edition, a series of Libratone Zipp speakers hand-embroidered by Danish cartoonist Stine Spedsbjerg and inspired by the story of Thumbelina by Hans Christian Andersen. The magical speakers will be auctioned on eBay, with proceeds going to UNICEF, the global children’s charity organization and awarded to a lucky winner in a “Fairytale Edition” competition.

The “Fairytale Edition” collaboration with Stine Spedsbjerg began at the Danish Chromatism exhibition, at Salone del Mobile, furniture fair in Milan earlier this year, when Spedsbjerg hand-embroidered selected scenes from Thumbelina on the speakers on display to remind us all that audio speakers are much more than just black boxes!
