This is possibly the most stylish “shelter” I’ve seen in a while.

Vipp just released their latest creation, the Shelter. It consists of a 55 sqm prefabricated living space made of steel. It has large windows to allow plenty of natural light in, and to enjoy the views. The first Shelter is located in the Swedish forest, and it is beautifully furnished with Vipp products.

“Vipp is rooted in the manufacture of industrial objects, so the term Shelter is a typology that allows us to define this modern escape as a product inspired by large volume object such as planes, ferries, submarines. (…) There is plenty of amazing architecture out there, but we wanted to conceive something different rooted in who we are. Se we used our 75 years of experience with steel processing to craft an escape in the form of a prefabricated object designed down to last detail, where the only choice left to the customer, is where to put it.” – Morten Bo Jensen, chief designer at Vipp
