Danish design company Gubi is well known for it’s numerous design icons such as the Beetle chair and stool, Adnet mirror, and Bestlite light series. I love the elegance and beautiful simplicity of their products, and many are on my lust list…

It is with great enthusiasm that Gubi revealed two new products this week at IMM Cologne 2015.

The first novelty is the Modern Line Sofa. It is a timeless piece of furniture originally designed in 1949 by Greta M. Grossman (she is also the creative mind behind the Grasshopper lamps). It has sleek and elegant lines, with slender legs. It has a light, minimalist expression. It will be available in stores this spring.

The second addition to Gubi’s assortment is the Collar Lamp by designer Sebastian Herkners. It consist of a simple ceiling lamp in blown glass and aluminum. The lamps, which will be available this summer, come in various sizes and colours. This allows numerous possibilities for personal and playful installations. You can use an individual lamp or create a group, and you can mix and match different models.

Watch Gubi’s website for more info (coming soon) about these two beautiful designs.
