Check out the floating staircase in this stylish Oslo apartment! The powder-coated white steel stairs by London based architects Haptic are centrally located but completely unobtrusive. They’re brilliantly incorporated into the floorplan.

While the stairs are nearly invisible, they still provide a hint of a division between living and dining area. This helps structure the large, lofty space. Their transparent design also lets much more natural light flow into the room than any regular staircase would. This, in turn, allows for other bold design choices like the black kitchen.

The stairs are completed by a piece of wooden furniture that is both a chest of drawers and a window bench.

The apartment is very nicely decorated, too!
