With its original features like the fireplace and the crown mouldings, the place already had a lot of charm, and the edited furnishings just added to the character. Indeed, you can spot numerous fab vintage finds, mostly classic Scandinavian designs:  a floor lamp by Arne Jacobsen, chairs and table by Artek, a Flower pot table lamp and Montana’s Panton Wire shelf units, both by Verner Panton. You can find such iconic pieces at flea markets (when you have a keen eye and luck is on your side) or auction houses like Lauritz or Bruun Rasmussen. These are also a great place to find vintage artwork, like those in the apartment below.

The look could easily have looked mismatched, but is actually pretty elegant and harmonious.

We’re loving the serene bedroom, with its white and grey linen matching the wall color, with the beige accents from the old books, curtains and wooden side tables. Notice the cute seagulls mobile; it’s by Danish brand Flensted.

Beautiful and simple – What’s not to love?
