Copenhagen was voted best city to live in by Monocle more than once, and the Danes are consistently at the top of UN’s ranking of global happiness. It has an enviable quality of life, a strong focus on work-life balance, fantastic cuisine, cutting-edge designers, easy-going and fun-loving citizens, world-class architecture, lots of green spaces, and beaches. The city can be explored by bike in a day, and you’ll get a taste of its richness and glory. Copenhagen is lively, charming, clean, safe and all about ‘hygge’.
There is something special about Copenhagen, and it’s hard to put it in words. A day in the city will convince you; you’d probably want to be a part of it, just like I do. And you’d wish you could call it home.
I made a selection of some of the best places to stay in Copenhagen. Here they are, in no particular order.
